We were referred to this agency by our attorney and found them to be completely professional, organized and helpful from our first communication to our last. They updated our home study, handled the matching and also did our post placement interviews. Our personal attorney handled the finalization procedures.
Our social worker was kind, honest and very approachable.
Our birth mother's social worker appeared equally as attentive. She spoke with us at length before the match, was present at the hospital before and after the birth and appeared to be genuinely concerned for our first mother's well being.
We adopted 2 children through this wonderful agency - the lawyer who owns the agency - ALWAYS took our calls and ALWAYS returned them throughout the entire adoption process if she wasn't available when we called. AND most importantly she was ALWAYS kind and compassionate!
Not to say adoption is easy - anyone who has been through the process knows it is not - there were always plenty of tears of joy, fear, uncertainty, and frustration on my end.
This agency is the first agency we used and again we adopted our 2 boys from here - our 3rd adoption was through an agency that an aquaintance of ours had started and we felt obligated to use --- we don't regret adopting our daughter, but the new agency couldn't hold a candle to Adoption Choices of CO - this is when we realized how 'good' we had it the first two times!
