Adoption Agency Ratings

Aurora International is completely rude. I emailed them asking to clarify some information for me and they insulted me telling me I was stupid and not adoption material. How would they know? Because I asked a question? I was specifically asking for more info on their waiting child program (they have a "photolisting" and I wanted more info. Usually adoption agencies waive fees for this program so I wanted to see what Aurora's program did) and whoever emailed me back told me I was stupid. Before calling me stupid, they told me "you have had our package for a week already". Like I'm supposed to make up my mind in one week what I want to use for adopting! I think they tailor this program to complete morons who are just trying to rush into adoption. After informing this person that I have contacted several agencies and the info packet told me nothing about waiting children, they told me to basically read between the lines because Ukraine doesn't have a waiting child program. How is one supposed to know that! So I told this person not to email me again because he/she was so rude and then they told me I was disqualified from using their services, liked I'd use them anyway. I wonder how they decide who is adoption material and who isn't based on a few emails? Needless to say, I'm filing complaints with copies of the emails I received and if I were you, I would steer clear of using this agency.

According to this place, I am stupid for not reading the material correctly and I'm stupid for not using their free phone seminar. Oh and by the way, this guy is foreign (see the website staff page and no, I'm not racist, but trying taking an English class) so good luck talking on the phone with him. I could hardly understand his crappy emails or his craptastic information packet. BUYER BEWARE!

My husband and i used Aurora when we
adopted our son earlier this year, and we were extremely happy with
them.We used Aurora's Kazakhstan program.

We used Aurora (traveled to Ukraine this spring, came home with our
little guy in April). We had a great experience with them.

They were open and honest at all points in the process re:
1) costs (almost to the penny what they quoted us)
2) time-frame (I think we were about 1 month off, and that was due to
a delay on our end over the dossier)
3) in-country experience.
4)fully cooperative with Ukraine adoption authorities
If we were planning another adoption, I wouldn't hesitate to use them.
