Catholic Charities LIES. As an adoptee who face a life threatening illness and was in dire need of medical history Catholic Charities was of no help. Upon finally making some headway in my search it was discovered that this particular agency knowingly falsified my information. They recorded a fictious name as my birthmother when they knew full well who she was because she was an active member in that particular community. In fact she lived there still active up until her death in 2001. The tourment, agonyand frustration, not to mention monetary costs this agency's lies caused me to have was a disgrace. They literally lied in the name of God.
Upon further investigation, witnesses came forward that told of how cold hearted the nuns who care for the orphans were. Sadly I was one of those babies. Today, if a baby is treated the way they treated me and other babies, they would be incarcerated . Catholic Charities in Somerville is criminal
