We originally went with Independant Adoption Center and have been with them for 4 years but nothing and out $15,000 and waiting. In the meantime we needed to update our home study and IAC does not have offices in our area so we went to CHS. Because of our association with them we were asked if we wanted them to also help find a child for us. No money up front except for home study. Within 6 months with CHS we recv'd our beautiful son who is now 2 yrs old. CHS of Tallahassee, FL is the most wonderful organization out there. Ms. Helen Ervin is one of the most caring people and completely professional and very thorough. We are still waiting for IAC for a sibling for our son and that doesn't seem to be happening anytime soon. If you have a choice go with CHS.
