I jave one word to describe CCA1...SCAM! They take your money and give you nothing. We have been waiting for almost 3 years and all they have to say is it may be additional months. As soon as you think your are getting close, that's when they tell you it may be another 12 months or more! Scam! Scam! Scam! You just have to just keep paying the immigration office and home study over and over again
We have received wonderful service from CCAI for both of our adoptions. CCAI is the most caring, professional, and knowledgable agency. China adoption is their speciality and focus so the paperwork went very smoothly. Their staff is China is the BEST! . Why use any one else?
We adopted our daughter from China and used CCAI. They were honest, professional, and held our hand every step of the way. The international paperwork that initially seemed so daunting was made easy by the professional guidance of this agency. From orientation through our post adoption work, we were thrilled with our experience with CCAI. We always received a super quick response to questions and the in country guides were amazing. We will absolutely use them again for our next adoption. We started the process expecting a short wait, but the wait began to extend while we were in process. Of course, the lengthening wait was dissapointing and stressful, but we understood that the longer and upredictable wait times were not our agencies fault but the result of things beyond their control. We respected that they didnt validate rumors about the China program that could not be confimed. This allowed us to trust that they would give us information when they had info that they could confirm as true. We are dissapointed that the wait time has increased, but know that if we are willing to wait, in time, we will be referred another child that is perfect for our family. We believe that the China program remains one of the most reliable international programs and know that we will use CCAI again. They deliver outstanding service at a reasonable cost. We couldnt be happier with them.

The wait was longer than we originally thought, but was so worth every moment. The founders of the agency are there for each family and that is one of the most important aspects to us as a family. Knowing how much they care for each family and child put our minds at ease. If we were to adopt again, we would call CCAI in a heart beat. They continue to support us since we have been home, and I have no doubt that support is going to last for many years to come!
Now when you say CAI do you really mean CCAI? The agency in Co? But also with offices, like Atlanta? (I used the Atl office myself)

I also don't recognize the name AnnaMarie, however I have been home 3 years with our daughter and am somewhat out of the loop current staff wise.
I guess If I had to find one small complaint from the Atl office, I would have to go way way back to the first day of my paperchase. They had hired a gal just out of college and she was giving me wrong GA INS info and I knew it. I tolerated her but then finally told someone that she was passing out incorrect INS info.
I mostly dealt with CO and never had to see her again.
I have talked with them in the last years and really like the new guy Dick in Atl.

We know Georgians who were so upset with places like GA Bethany and they left the agencies, and even left their $....to jump on board with CCAI.
People willing to lose $ to join CCAI says a lot.

This just SHOCKS me from knowing so many China adopters and running a website for them for 5 years? We never ever heard anything bad about CCAI in those 5 years?

We used CCAI for all three of our adoptions. I cannot say enough good things about them. They are a professional, expert adoption agency. Our phone calls were always returned. While in China they held our hand every inch of the way. Their staff truly care about the families. LOVE THEM, LOVE THEM, LOVE THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We used them for our first adoption. Other than coordinate our trip for us they really did nothing. Whenever we called them, which was only three times, they never returned a phone call. I thought of using them again for our second adoption, but when I called them I got their answering machine, left a message,and again they never called me back. They must have enough business so I figured they didn't need mine.
They lied to us from the start, we started the process on year ago and they told us it would take 1 year. Now it turns out that even then they knew it would take much longer.
Instead of giving us any notification about the increase in waiting time they just sent stupid recipes and other useless crap. These people should be brought to court. They are the worse kind of liars because they pry on people that are powerless!
We used them (during short wait times) and were 10000% happy with them.
I have to admit that watching ALL agencies....sort of not warn brand newbies about the truthful wait bothers me.
This has nothing to do with CCAI though.
They ALL say "the current wait is" now sign up with us......
When reality is...the "current wait" means diddley to someone who just found an agency TODAY.
Using the "current wait" termanology does seem sneaky....but again they are ALL doing it.
I used CCAI for both of my adoptions. They communicate throughout the process through newsletters, online weekly updates and e-mail. They will not pass along rumors - only facts. They are wonderful in their support during the wait (creating new mentoring programs as the wait continues to lengthen), have one of the best if not the best travel team in China, and have a strong post-adoption support department. They do not overcharge. They are Hague accredited. They care about the children in China and provide a lot of support through their charity arm. They have a counseling center and assist with referrals if you live outside of Denver. Just a top notch organization!!!

They listen to parent feedback and provide support during the dossier process, while waiting for a referral, and even during the months and years after a return home. They are committed to the children in China and their families in the U.S. We are from a different state and used our own homestudy agency, but CCAI worked well with the homestudy agency. When friends using an adoption facilitator for their China program have questions they ask ME because they know I'll be able to get the information from CCAI. That's not to say CCAI never made a mistake-- they did. But they took credit for their errors and apologized. They provided wonderful in-country support. I wish our domestic adoption agency had been this wonderful. I just can't say enough kind words about them. CCAI rocks.
I loved CCAI. There we always nice and very helpful. When ever I would call or email with a question they were always nice and cheerful. There guides were stellar. Jason in Guangzhou was outstanding and very helpful when our daughter got sick. I would use them again in a heartbeat !

Great Agency
