The name says it all. This group is the "HEART" of the adoption process. The staff we worked with, especially Susan, was very helpful and understanding as my husband and I adventured into the adoption process of our daughter Leighan. It was an older adoption because she was 5 when we started the process. The home study and the rest of the process was painless because of the assistance from the staff at Heart of Adoption. I would suggest to anyone to use Heart of Adoption for any adoption from a newborn to older adoption. The team will always be there when you need them and can answer just about every question you may have about adoption and the process to make your family complete. If we ever decide to adopt again or know someone who is thinking of it, we will definitely contact Heart of Adoption again.

We are pleased and so thankful for our great blessing from heaven! Our baby girl whom we adopted is a promise of God and answered prayers in our lives… she is the daughter we always wanted and has fulfilled our lives with much love and joy!!! We couldn’t be happier with our little girl and all the joy and happiness she has brought to our lives and hearts.

This agency has some of the most qualified personnel you will ever find! From the front end to the back office, everybody was wonderful. Our experience in working with the social workers, support staff, and lawyers was outstanding! This experience helped us through some waiting and anxious times. The agency was organized, courteous and kept us updated regularly regarding our process.

I could go for hours regarding the top notch people and process at Heart of Adoptions. My wife and I have nothing but wonderful things to say. There are no smoke and mirrors. (We had done work with two agencies before finding Heart of Adoptions) They are up front, honest and caring.

For our first adoption, we worked primarily with Susan and Ciana. They immediately made us feel as if we had finally found an agency that knew what had to be done. They explained every step and made us feel very comfortable with the process. This adoption was out of state. We had to hire a second attorney and agency for that state. To make a long story short, Jeanne's office had to clean up behind the sloppy work of the second office. They were spot on and brilliant in there execution. Susan and Ciana were fabulous to work with and Danelle did a great job at the final hearing. We walked away feeling as if our family finally complete and we could not have been happier….

…Until the second one. Time passed and we came to the decision that we wanted to grow one more time. We had set a mental expectation of two years for the process to be complete and were confident that the second adoption would be as seamless as the first. We started back up with Susan and Ciana and it was as we had never stopped. Once again, they were caring attentive and really made sure we were ready to take on this new addition to our family. My wife and I were cruising along at a "relaxed" pace (as we knew this would take a while). We were introduced to Melinda and once again were astounded by the quality of staff this agency employs. Melinda coached us on the in state procedures and we were ready to go. Much to our surprise, from application completion to placement we were somewhere around 3 MONTHS!! Melinda was an angel! She worked day and night (literally) and was wonderful about making sure we knew everything that was going on. She did everything to make sure that we were comfortable with the process. She became a great friend and confidant to not only us but the birth mother as well (still is!). We will always cherish the relationship that we have with Melinda. She is absolutely the best at what she does! Steve did a great job at the final hearing and our family is now complete! ….Maybe :)

If you are reading this as a prospective adoptive couple, I cannot express how much confidence I have in this agency. If you are working with another agency, you’re working to hard. They are honest, professional and most importantly caring. Give them a chance to make an impression on you and I promise you will feel the same.

I can not say enough wonderful things about Heart of Adoptions! We have used Heart of Adoptions/Jeanne Tate with both of our adoptions. We now have 2 beautiful blessings and we can't thank them enough!! They are professional and caring and would recommend them to EVERYONE! Our first adoption was out of state and Jeanne helped us with an ICPC issue. She is the best and we are so happy that we had her on our side! I can't imagine a better adoption attorney!
Our 2nd adoption started with a different agency(ABC) which ended up closing down. It was so scary until Heart of Adoptions took over. They were WONDERFUL! We recently finalized our adoption and I could not say enough wonderful things about them! I was amazed with all of the wonderful caring staff that always took the time to answer any questions and help us. We worked with Jeanne Tate, Danelle Barksdale, Steven Hurwtiz, Daneille Stewart, Ciana Hamilton, and Susan Major! They made sure to dot their i's and cross their t's and made sure everything was done perfectly! We were so impressed with the wonderful staff! I have friends who have also had great experiences with them also!
If you want the best, I would highly recommend them!
