I am one who asks very, very many questions. All of my questions received responses from teams here and in Armenia. I also called and emailed over 25 references prior to choosing Hopscotch. All resposes led us right to Hopscotch. Familes were happy to relay how passionate Robin was with regards to the orphaned children. We were always advised to be honest at all of our appointments while in country and each agency within country welcomed my family and her team very warmly. No inappropriate activities ever took place on our watch. All laws and rules were adhered to at every turn. We were in such great hands while we were there. We adopted our two precious children in 2002, when Hopscotch's owner worked with another agency. We were so glad when she started Hopscotch because her integrity is beyond reproach. As our adoption facilitator in Rep. of Georgia, Robin Sizemore was realistic about the medical reports we received, while still encouraging. We asked a LOT of questions, and it turned out that she was always right. We would have felt much more secure in the adoption process if we'd known about Robin's reputation in Georgia. There she is considered the best facilitator for American adopting parents, and she has a good rapport with government officials, attorneys, orphanage directors, and the people who work directly with adopting parents. Robin is involved with humanitarian aid projects in Georgia. She is sincerely concerned about finding the right "forever homes" for the children she works with. We recommend Hopscotch to any family thinking about adopting from Rep. of Georgia, and we suggest that any other agency you work with be compared to the standard that Hopscotch has set.
My family is 100% satisfied with Hopscotch - an extraordinarily professional, Hague accredited agency. Our notarized, signed agreements outline all professional services and related fees. And the most important thing is that the best interest of children is always paramount.
We are early in the process, but the professionalism and manner in which my wife and I have been dealt with has been great.

I did not adopt with Robin, but I was thankfully helped by her. I was already in Georgia and had serious doubts about the health of the child I was there to adopt and my agency, Adore, was not helping me. When they finally did communicate with me it was with anger and told me that my only choices were to adopt that child, adopt the child and turn him over to them to readopt once in the US, or go home and never contact them again. Since it was clear the little boy was moderately to severely disabled, I had to choose the last.
I was in a country that I didn't understand the language, didn't know anyone else that could help me and I called her. Even though I wasn't working with her, and it might cost her to do so, she helped me. I was able to get videos of the little boy to US doctors, got in touch with a reliable doctor in Georgia, and treated like a human being - unlike Adore. I wrote a post on their agency site as well as FRUA chatboard. I would tell anyone not to use Adore, and would tell anyone to talk with Robin as she is realistic and helpful - no matter the situation. She shows her care and concern for the children first.
