Does not follow post adoption agreement

I can tell you that I placed 2 children for adoption thru 2 different agencies and this is the worst experience I have ever had. They are pushy before birth and after I think in 8 years I have received maybe 2 dozen pictures and none in the last 7 everytime I call it is a fight and the lady that runs it makes me feel like I've done something wrong. There is a reason why I wanted an open adoption with pictures every year and your shouldn't be doing this work if you can't stand by your birth mothers that are making your money for you.

Poor Experience

We used the Keane Center for an adoption in Michigan. We were completely unsatisfied with the woman who represents the agency. She was unkind, showed no sensitivity towards the birthmother or the adoptive parents, and was unwilling to put in anything but minimal effort. It amazed us that she was actually a social worker; she showed no warmth, sensitivity or compassion. I recommend that you find another adoption agency with a staff that's willing to be helpful and work hard.

Incredibly helpful & efficient

We used the Keane Center to help us with an adoption in Michigan, as we were with another agency in our home state. We signed up with Keane on very short notice. Our counselor bent over backwards for us to make sure papers were filed on time both in Michigan and in our state. She worked very well with our birthmother and explained everything very clearly to us all along the way.
