I am rating ANA with 5 stars, only because that is all there is available!! I couldn't be happier with this agency. Our adoption was a baby born situation thru a different agency, and ANA was our homestudy agency. We only wish we had used them for our placing agency too! After some difficulties with our birth mother changing her mind (understandable, our baby was 6 week old at time of placement) and A MULTITUDE of legal issues, that our placing agency didn't help with at all, we were contacted by Julie. She had heard thru the grapevine that we were having difficulties and offered her help. Our acutal agency leaned heavily on ANA, even tho they are supposed to be a law center.....they couldn't help us to find a lawyer when we needed one, nor could they answer most of our questions. In the wee hours of the morning when we were tearfully saying goodbye to our daugher of 23 hours (we decided if her mother truly wanted her, we couldn't split up her family even tho we had full custody) Julie was there for us, letting us know what our options were, putting us in contact with a great laywer, and offering her support and condolenses. Thankfully, our birth mother changed her mind yet again, and chose to place our daughter with us in the end. We are still dealing with legal issues and medical records....all of which ANA is helping us with. Not our placing agency. Because of their caring and compassion, not to mention good old fashioned know how, we have a beautiful baby girl. If we choose to adopt again in the future, we will definatley be doing it ALL thru ANA. I just can't say enough good things about this agency. If you need someone to help you thru this process, this is your agency!

We hired ANA to complete our home study in Montana and we could not have been happier with the outcome. The staff at ANA were knowledgeable, helpful and conducted themselves in a professional manner. The attention to detail and thoroughness of the home study allowed for our match with a birthmother in a very short period of time. We look forward to working with ANA during our post placement visits.
We completed our adoption lastyear. The person handling our case was unprofessional and written communication was at times not undestandable. We would not go with thisagency again nor recommend it.
If you go into adoption with the right attitude, this agency will work well for you. Adoption is uncertain, the rules change mid-process. Keep an open mind and work with the agency and you will be happy.
I was very unhappy with this agency. They were unprofessional and in my opinion overpriced given their lack of knowledge and services. They rarely seemed to know what was going on in our adoption and always had excuses. I wish that we'd used a bigger agency with more experience and professionalism.
This agency has been unable to accomplish anything for us in a timely orgnaized manner. Unless you count sending us bills for things we have already paid for.
This agency probably should not be in business. They have a track record of using questionable facilitators and don't seem to care. We had a terrible experience with them and would never recommend this agency.
