I researched MANY agencies & finally decided on EAC -- the best decision I've ever made. They were there for me every step of the way (even in the middle of the night when I needed them most!!!) From the moment I attended the info session to the moment my daughter was placed in my arms they were there for me!! I would never dream of using another agency for my 2nd adoption & urge all prospective parents to do their research like I did.
Interesting, there are two negative posts about this agency, which btw also reflect our experience, and plopp, there is this so very positive response to put this agency into the greatest light again. This somehow arouses my suspicion that there are agency people posting here, acting like adoptive parents.
We adopted with them we know what their 24 hour service is like. After hours there are only people who have no clue about anything. I may as well talk to my dog. I probably get more intelligent answers from him. Heck, even during normal business hours if you are lucky to get your case worker on the phone they make you feel like you are a nuisance. We never felt like they were there for us at all. We felt like they wanted to get rid of us all the time. What do you expect? The case workers get paid bonuses for cases they complete and acquire. For them clients are just numbers. EAC does one thing very good and that is marketing. I suspect that this previous post is placed by EAC's Marketing department to make them look better than they actually are. I also encourage prospective EAC clients to do their research. They will find many experiences like mine and the last two posters. I have talked to many people that used EAC personally. Some hated their guts others were ok with them. But I never ever heard anybody say EAC is the best or #1. Everbody knows that certain things with EAC are not like they should be.
There are better choices out there for adopting internationally. They may not be as flashy because they invest less time into marketing and more into customer service but if you do your research thorough enough, you will find them.
