Contact a TV station's investigative reporter

1

Has anyone contacted a tv station's investigative reporter? I'm sure this is news worthy. We have a couple here in Denver but I think it would be best to contact someone in Tucson/AZ. Maybe they can get some answers and some results??? Just a thought. I cannot do it right now so someone else will have to take the lead.

Also, if you haven't contacted the State licensing office in the State where you were working with Commonwealth (ie. Colorado, Florida, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, etc. , that might also help to put some pressure on.

Contacting TV or other media outlets

We have thought of contacting the media because this is certainly news worthy. My husband has dealt with media relations in the past, mostly of an entertainment nature, and he will be glad to follow up on this. The contacts he has are with InTouch Weekly, US Weekly, People magazines and the NY Post. His contact at the NY Post may be able to put him in touch w/someone at FOX since they are owned by the same parent company and are housed in the same building in NY.

Our adoption was completed through CAII last year but we have continued to have problems with them. I did write a reporter for an AZ paper that had written an article about their closing a few weeks ago. I explained the TRUTH about CAII to him. He never responded to my email. We contacted the Council on Accreditation, the licensing authorities in FL, the Attorney Gen. office in AZ and FL (where we live), and the licensing authorities in AZ. I think at this point, all of these agencies are probably overwhelmed with complaints and may be behind in responding to all of the claims that are being made. Thankfully, all of the people we have made contact with to this point, have at least acknowledged our concerns.

Please contact us via email if you have any specific TV or other media outlets you would like us to try to make contact with. ALSO, before my husband talks with anyone, we need to know how many families would be willing to talk with a reporter about their experience w/CAII. Otherwise, it would probably look like we are just a disgruntled family.
