CCAI
We used them for our first adoption. Other than coordinate our trip for us they really did nothing. Whenever we called them, which was only three times, they never returned a phone call. I thought of using them again for our second adoption, but when I called them I got their answering machine, left a message,and again they never called me back. They must have enough business so I figured they didn't need mine.

I'm totally surprised by this post.
EVERYONE I know thats used them is 100+ % happy with CCAI?
They did a lot of work for all of us and always called back within 24 hours but usually they called back within one hour?
All you have to do is Google CCAI, especially under the Blog Google search.
Everyone seems to love this agency.
Maybe I have a different view because I know many who used other agencies and were VERY unhappy. It really gives me points to compare with.
I needed a lot of paperchase handholding and I got it from them.
Then on the opposite end, In China I wanted my family to be free and see China for 2 weeks with no handholding. I got that as well.
Anytime I ask my reps for something in China, they made it happen.
It was like being on a fancy vacation.
I traveled with people on their 2nd and 3rd CCAI adoptions too.
We had zero problems here or in China because of CCAI.
They make sure your case/papers are in perfect condition before you travel.
Some travel mates had some struggles on the orphanage end and CCAI handled things beautifully.
I can't imagine being overseas while building a family with any other agency watching over me.
We will use them again for travel, Heritage tours etc..They are that good!
I also feel very supported since returning home.
obviously your experience is very different from mine..
even their social worker didn't have good things to say about AnnaMarie. This agency is rated in the lowest 20 on this website for a reason. I was even offered to start a support group for people with bad CAI experiences!
But ... maybe their international division is better. I am glad to hear that you had a good experience. Adopting should be as wonderful as giving birth.

Answering machine? Anna Marie? Who in the WORLD are you talking about?! This thread is for comments on Chinese Children Adoption International (CCAI) and NOT CAI! Take a moment to READ...maybe the problems with your agency - CAI - had more to do with you than your agency?

Come on...is it really necessary to attack someone just because they may have a different experience than yours? Even if they posted to the wrong company, your attack is completely unnecessary.
When posting to this site, please remember its purpose...for everyone to post THEIR experience with an agency. I get a bit suspicious when OTHERS argue one's experience; it is their experience after all.

Why is CAI being posted under CCAI?
The poster mentioned "maybe their international program is better".
CCAI is only international, China?
I wish people would watch their letters better.
That one extra C can give a great agency and bad rating.
