Please note that there are two agencies using the name CHI. Those are Children's House International and Children's Hope International. Don't confuse the two. It is best to type in the entire name.

You May Be Hurting The Families Who Are Waiting
Who ever is reposting over and over - I understand you are upset. We get it that you are upset. Although us who are waiting want to see our adoptions go through and you trying to make it worse for CHI and Us waiting Families - please stop complaining. Its been a long road through accreditation and yes I know of Families traveling. We believe in CHI and want our child and we will have them soon. So now that you have complained and moved on to another agency maybe concentrate on your new agency with positive thoughts instead of living with negative thoughts of others and worring about what you think maybe going on at CHI.

Over the course of our 27 months with CHI we went thru 5 employees...Two of these employees cared so much that they put there own feelings in front of CHI. I know this, and is something very honerable. CHI was not just a job for them it was a place where they did good for the children. But when these two left CHI they left upset at the way things were progressing there. Some of which they(CHI) had no control of. The fact that we were lied to over and over, was not hard to figure out. We were only a little stupid for letting it go on that long. Do your home work, thats the mistake we made. I can say this enough.......What do I mean? Here is an example.....We were told by CHI that the would be no female children under 24 months to adopt in the next 8months.....all this after two years of waiting. So you can sit back and trust them when your 3,4,6,8, months in but after 2years. You start to think Hmmm...Lets check there facts.....Pick up the phone and call other agencies. Talk to more than 1 place, call 4 or 5. Its all about being the best you can be. Check out what others have to say. We called several when we jumped ship, and that was truely the must refreshing day we had in the last 30 months of waiting. Just think about it CHI has hundreds of waiting parents. Some agencies have under 5 or 10. Do you think we would of signed up with an agency that was investigated for forged documents. Some of the parents who jumped ship in january are already home with children.
