Social worker turnover rate was horrible in the office we used. It got down to a single employee for a while. During our process, we had 3 different social workers and had only met 1 of them (until placement day when we finally met our final SW). Paperwork got lost at least 5 different times. The day after placement we got a phone call telling us we owed 4 days worth of medical while in the hospital because of an error they had done.
Not happy at all with the agency in how they handled our adoption. Would not recommend them to anybody, and have told people locally not to use them.
THIS WHOLE THING IS A SCAM ON BIRTH MOTHERS AND ADOPTIVE PARENTS TO MAKE MONEY FOR THE AGENCY AND LAWYERS. THEY GET THE GIRLS ON MEDICAID AND THE BABIES ---NEVER PAY ANY DOCTOR BILLS AND EVEN GO SO FAR AS TO TELL THE GIRLS NOT TO TELL DOCTORS THEY ARE GIVING THE BABY UP UNTIL DELIVERY. SO DR. VISITS ARE STRAINED AND YOU CANNOT SAY ANYTHING.
THE BIRTH PARENTS SHOULD PAY THE BILLS DIRECTLY AND LEAVE THESE MIDDLE MEN OUT OF IT ALL. THE TAXPAYERS ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR BIRTHMOTHER OR BABY BILLS. NO WONDER CHILDREN, THE OLD , AND DISABLED DON'T HAVE ENOUGH MONEY VIA MEDICAID WITH THESE LEECHES HOLDING ONTO THE MONEY AND BASICALLY SELLING THE BABIES. THE ADOPTIVE PARENTS PROBABLY THINK THEY ARE PAYING THE BILLS. A ZERO FOR THIS PLACE AND CHANGE THE LAWS.
That was not at all true in my placement. My doctor knew from day ONE that I was placing my daughter for adoption. Then when I made an error and did not add her to my work insurance policy, her parents had to pay her birth bills. My insurance only paid mine. I never heard any complaints about that from her parents.

Do not generalize
