Adoption Agency Ratings

Beacon House has been in the adoption arena for many many years. Genesis is another total and separate agency that was created by a very greedy Russian who left Russia to set up adoption shop here in the states ( who I will not name.) HE and HIS EMPLOYEES are responsible for the devastation left behind.
Beacon House was slammed for trying to help Genesis with their referrals and post placement reports (the so called stealing of contracts. This was done to get all of the post placements completed for Russia.) And for the record, almost all of the other agencies help each other get referrals of children to families. (Or Umbrella as you like to call it )They are more intertwined than you want to believe (and I am talking about all of the big name agencies everyone works with) Their ability to work among themselves makes international adoption work. It is a network of agencies who want to help each other. This is not illegal, it is how it is done. Many of the Russian interpreters and drivers (obviously working in Russia) all work for different agencies here in the US. You will see how one driver will pick up a PAP from one agency one day then pick up another PAP the next day from a totally different agency. You may have one interpreter one day who was working with another agency who will then interpret for you and the other PAPs in your agency. I say all of this because the people on the Russian side are very important and most of the good reputable agencies use the same Russian interpreters and drivers. They are fabulous!

Several of the posters writing have never stepped foot in Russia to see how it works. Instead, they are blaming Beacon House and the Russian Representatives for the mistakes of Genesis Adoptions. If you signed on with Genesis and it didn't work, well then Genesis is to blame. I got burned by Genesis too, but I know who the real thief was and it has nothing to do with adoptions currently being completed by Beacon House. Beacon House is accredited, has NGO status, and is completing adoptions. Getting accreditation and NGO is a clear sign that they are capable of working in the Russian Adoption World. Russia weeded out the bad, so please let's put the Amrex stuff to rest and get to what this sight is really about.
