2 1/2 years ago we adopted our daughter. We used Adoption Advantage. We only waited 4 months so a year later when we decided we wanted to adopt another child, we decided to sign again with Adoption Advantage. At that time we probably would have given a higher rating. Now, 18 months later, we are still waiting. We have been provided minimal detailed updates during this time and received them only when we pushed hard enough for information. In recent form letters to adoptive parents signed with them, Adoption Advantage has requested communication mainly through e-mail. However, we get limited, if any responses. We have sent numerous e-mails and left voice mails at the main number and also with cell phone numbers that have been provided to us by staff. Have any other signed adoptive parents been having difficulty getting information from Adoption Advantage? Or difficulty receiving any type of communication outside of their sporadic form e-mails? Any feedback would be appreciated
we heard they are out of busniess or heading for bankruptcy, and from what i red here it seems like it could be true. i dont know why their numbers dont work and they dont call anyone, i never hear anyone answer the phone it just always goes to vm on me. does anyone here live in arkansas and can go by that address and see if they are really there? i would love to know if they are still in business or gone and just not telling us. my last communication with them was the form letter in november. i bet i called ten times since then and...nothing.
You missed the half written December letter. The last communication that we had with them was before Christmas...that's it, their on Christmas vacation. I would fully recommend contacting Lisa Ferrell. We did yesterday morning and she called back that afternoon. She is very willing and receptive to any additional information she can obtain to sanction this agency and get their license revoked.

I called today to tell them that I didn't get this and it said the numbers are no longer available?! Is there any way you would be willing to forward this letter to me? here's my personal email:
Have you contacted anyone from the licensing unit or have they contacted you? I know that they are trying to get as much information as possible against them.

My husband and I just had a HORRIBLE experience with this agency. (Please see my post titled "AA IS GREEDY AND SHADY") Since our so-called "disruption" (which it really wasn't, since there NEVER WAS a baby for adoption) we have left over 10 messages and sent a dozen or more email messages and have not heard a word! A lady named "Emily" answers, says she will connect me, then I get a voicemail box that says it's full, so I can't even leave a message! Emily seems clueless and offers to take a written message, but I might as well put a letter in a bottle for all the good it does. They believe that they have all of our money now and there's nothing we can do about it! Well, I can certainly "TRY" to keep anyone else from falling for their scheme. I really hope these people get to experience the pain, disappointment and hopeless that they have caused the numerous people they have taken "ADVANTAGE" of!
