CCI is the worse adoption agency on the planet!! I am convinced they are in a category by themselves!
They did not get Hague accredidation--no surprise there! They are attempting to remediate the problems but based on Sue Hedberg's lack of communication, refusal to respond to requests for information despite the fact that our contract clearly states we are suppose to get weekly updates (haven't had one in months), her mean-spiritedness AND that she has told ALL her families that she will not know (ask the attorneys for confirmation) if our cases have been registered with the CNA in Guatemala until it is too late to do anything about it!!! You can remediate organizational problems but not character defects!
I would rather set my hair on fire than work with this agency for our next adoption!
Although I would have liked to have received verification of my CA registration earlier, I am pleased with the handling of my case so far. Not only did I receive notification that my case was registered, but also that my case already back in PGN. This is an emotional rollercoaster but Sue and CCI have lived up their contract requirements to me thus far. As a client how do you know this information about the Hague situation? Sounds a bit suspect to me. Are you really a client?
Sue Hedberg has talked briefly about not getting accredited and how 'hard to please' the COA is on her twice weekly chat group.
She has also mentioned in in yahoo group to various clients. If a client has questions Sue doesn't want to answer, she'll pull out her 'woe is me' card and start talking about all the unfairness she is faced with.
If you are not on chat or in the yahoo group you probably should be.
