I couldn't be more disappointed with an agency than we were with Faithful. Everything seemed wonderful, great coordinator regarding paperwork. When they got our money and our completed, apostilled dossier, then it happened. Oh, well, were are not certified but we will be shortly....any day now.....and after more than one year, still not certified. When we decided to move to a different agency, we lost every single hard earned penny we gave them even though they never did anything other than give us a list of paperwork to compile, copy, apostille, and send to them. I think they spent about 2 or 3 hours working our phone calls. All that for two thousand dollars. Refund? You get more back in change at McDonalds. If you are considering Faithful, think of them as....not so much.
Oh my goodness - I just read your Russian Adoption review of Faithful Adoptions and am so scared. We were just told to switch from Kazakhstan to Russia and are having to redo paperwork, etc. And I told my husband I am concerned about the delays we had getting them to file our dossier with Kaz, and now if they'll ever file with Russia. Did you get your paperwork back from them, or have to start completely over????
They did send back our paperwork, in a big pile. Then were very nice about sending our stuff back. Remember, most of the paperwork was forms that "they" send us. Our new agency gave us the paperwork they wanted us to use. So, our Faithful paperwork was...useless. The only bright spot was that I had access to everything the new agency needed plus the "experience" of doing this once already. Good Luck. We sincerely hope things work out for you, Faithful missed the mark with us.....and it cost us money yes, but, emotional energy as well.
