Is it gossip?

I would question ANY agency that does not respond to a potential donator. I contacted SD and EN on more than one occasion to sponsor one of the children they have that cannot be adopted. I have NEVER received a reply. I assume the reason no one ever replied to me is that my name is stereotypically not Christian, and therefore I cannot adopt from this agency (I was inquiring to SPONSOR, not to adopt, a child that supposedly needed a sponsor). I find it especially disappointing that a "Christian" agency would act so un-Christianlike.

Donation Ignored

I, too, inquired about a monetary donation that I wanted to make to Eagle's Nest. This was not in regard to sponsoring a waiting child, but rather a general offer of support. I requested Daniel's input as to what might be needed at Eagle's Nest. I sent an e-mail to Daniel and have never received a response. If two people have reported similar experiences, I'm guessing there might be more. I sent other e-mails to Daniel, that he answered, so I know I had the correct address when I made my inquiry.

Donation ignored

Again, I need to state that making donations to Eagle's Nest needs to go through Eagle's Nest. (Special Delivery does not go out and recruit or ask for $$) If donations come throught our office we make sure they get there, but we don't know which children need sponsorship like those at EN do know.

We have had some serious e-mail issues in Feb/March and it is very likely we didn't get mail. We have since changed our "server" (I'm not exactly sure if that's the correct name) but things are coming through better now. I'm sorry if you felt that your donation wasn't "worth it", but let me tell you that Eagles' Nest will not refuse donations to help the children.

Shocked!

Honestly, I don't know what you are talking about. We have NEVER refused to let someone "sponsor" a child because of a name. How are we supposed to know if you are "chrisitan" or not by your name? Pardon me if I seem a little shocked about this attempt to say we are discriminating, but I AM shocked. Eagle's Nest is fully in charge of getting sponsorship for any children that are "not adoptable" at this time. It's very possible that if someone did NOT respond to you they did not get your e-mail.
