Adoption Agency Ratings

After a lot of thought, input from e-mail, and our weekly poll results I have decided to start moderating the reviews. There have been some recent reviews and comments that are inappropriate and took away from the web sites main purpose.

This is how the new system will work.
1. All registered users can moderate via the "Was this helpful" question at the bottom of all reviews and comments.
2. If a question was determined by the community to not be helpful it will be moved to a Buried content section so everyone can see what has been moderated down.
3. Items in the Buried content section can also be promoted back if people vote they are helpful.

It currently takes five registered users saying something was not helpful to make it move the the Buried content section. This is represented by the number next to the "Yes No" images.

Content with the highest number will be presented first so that the best reviews are always on top.

I feel the new system will moderate the site AND allows users to see what is being removed. This system also gives the users power over what they feel is appropriate.

I will be the only person with the ability to vote more than once. This is mainly to remove SPAM or inappropriate material until our community is larger.

This feature is being tested currently and I encourage you to vote on what you find helpful. The only part of the system not working is the buried content section so content that receives 5 negative votes are just removed from public view.
