Great

I have family that adopted a little girl through St. Joseph Adoption. After that experience I recommended to a friend who had family thinking of adopting and they now have a wonderful daughter as well. The Sisters are great, caring, hard-working women who are serving their community well by helping to place these children in loving homes.

Wonderful experience!

We adopted our daughter through St. Joseph's. We were matched with her very quickly, the Sisters were in contact with us constantly throughout the process, and they worked very hard to answer all our questions and help us through the process. They were very supportive, and found many referrals for us, since they have contacts all over the country and are knowledgeable about the laws nationwide. Yes, they are a referral service, they make that blatantly obvious up front. They did everything they said they would and more, and their price was more than reasonable.
I cannot possibly give them a high enough rating--they deserve 10 stars instead of 5! I would recommend them to anyone to assist them with finding placement!

NOT AN AGENCY - A FACILITATOR!!!!

This is NOT a placement agency, rather a facilitator. They are NOT honest about the costs. The costs that are stated on the internet do NOT include THIER fees. There is very little contact throughout the process once you have been matched. They work with a VERY unethical facilitator in California, and once told about it these "Catholic Nuns" defended the facilitator, telling the aparents THEY were wrong. Thier costs are outrageous they want you to pay for birthparents. They don't know what the birthparents are or are not recieving, nor do they care. They just match you.

I don't know how the Bishop allows them to stay in business. Facilitators are there for the money only...so what are they doing? Nuns should not be trying to get money from potential adoptive parents like this. If they wanted to help out families & birth parents they would start a REAL agency only placing babies that THEY find (not through another agency). VERY unethical. I shudder to think our Catholic name is being used to pawn aparents & birthparents to use them. SHAME ON YOU!
