We had a horrible exerience with this agency. They took our money and we have no child to show for it. They not only referred a child to us that was not ever truly available, but once things started going downhill, they became very difficult to reach.

Staff changed during our process (staff member went down the street and opened her own agency) and there was no accountability for what happened to us.

There are too many good agencies (with LOTS of great ratings from clients) and PAP's should seek these agencies out.

If you do your homework on this agency, you will find several huge problems with they way they do business IMHO.

Wonderful agency

TOL has been wonderful. They are very supportive and attentive to my needs. They are great about answering questions and explaining things. Updates are given frequently.

So far so good

I am adopting from Kazakhstan and working with Tree of Life. I did not do a lot of research before I chose to work with them...I just went on my instincts. I'm so glad I did! Right now I am just waiting on word to travel and although it has taken a little longer than expected, they have kept me in the loop at every step and I have never questioned my decision. They only work in one region of the country which may seem like a disadvantage to some, but really it allows them to stay so connected that they know what is happening and what to expect at every step. I have needed a lot of hand holding and they have done just that. I have no doubt that my travel experience will go as smoothly as the paperwork.
FYI, updated contact info can be found on their website.

Wonderful agency!

We used the Tree of Life office based in Portland, OR for our two Russian adoption and are working on a third adoption at the moment. They are the most wonderful group of people to work with and I would never think of using anyone else to complete future adoptions. They are honest hard working people dedicated to finding homes for any orphan they can. They work as if each process is their own adoption. May God bless their hard work!
