Looking for parents. Born 2/14/92

I was born at Gwinnett medical center on February 14, 1992 and have been wanting to meet my parents for years. My mother was 19 when I was born and I was adopted through Friends of Children. My name is Mary Nell Armstrong and I would be so honored if my mother agreed to talk with me or to meet me. I have no expectations, I would just love to know my biological family. Parents, if you see this please email me at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

I'm an adoptee and within

I'm an adoptee and within the past few months started the search for my family. I have a sister that was put up for adoption the year before I was born. My birthday is 12/28/1986. However the adoptive parents never turns in her amended birth certificate so they're having trouble locating her. May I recommend contacting Adoption Reunion Registry? The women that run the program are amazing and they truly care about reuniting families. They will hire a PI and they also have access to documents the average citizen does not. They even have a support group I've started attending as well.

Friends of Children, GA. Adoption Oct 1987

I just wanna find my daughter. Born in October 1987 in Georgia. I couldnt even Name her, They called her 'Baby Girl Allen'. I dont know what hospital they took me to. For 1 1/2 weeks prior, they had me locked away in an apt in Marietta Ga, right off Interstate. Didnt let me make phone calls, go anywhere, do anything. After I gave birth, they pretty much rushed me to airplane and sent me back to St. Pete, FL. I've been crying for almost 24 yrs. I want to find my daughter, that they took away... My son wants to meet his sister. We luv her. I've never stopped. Pray every day she's doing good.
Friends of Children Adoption Agency, very fishy org.

Friends of Children Adoption Agency

I gave birth to a Baby Girl at the beginning of Oct 1987, and F.O.C. was the agency that took advantage of my young Naive self. They pursuaded me into giving my daughter up for adoption. I dont think i've gone more than a day or two without crying my eyes dry. My biggest fear is 'whether she got adopted by a good family'. FOC swore to me that SHE was gonna get great parents, but now I'm wondering, because Agency seemed to disappear.
Out of my 3 child births, My 1st born (son) passed away 7/15/08 at 22 yrs old.. My Youngest son(22) lives with me. All I ever dreamed about was a Daugher, and thats the one i gave up for adoption. It drives me crazy. Both my Sons wanted to meet their daughter, they tried searching, i've tried searching. I dont know what to do. I'm at end of ropes. I dont know what else to do.... I left my records OPEN so she could find me. But I didnt know that dang Agency was not on the up and up. I just pray one day i can find my Baby Girl Allen.

FRIENDS OF CHILDREN - HOW TO FIND RECORDS

Adoptees or birth parents looking for records from Friends of Children in Atlanta should contact the Georgia Adoption Reunion Registry (GARR). They've got a website with forms you can download to allow access to your records. If your b-child is over 21, b-parents can also have access to some of their information too.

Friends of Children Adoption Agency...

In January of 1984 I had a baby boy and placed him for adoption with this agency out of Atlanta Georgia. I heard a few years later that they had gotten in trouble for transporting children across state lines or something like that, and that they had been doing other unethical practices and were shut down...for twenty four years, I have been worried about my son, and I would like to know if anyone who reads this knows how I could find out what happened to him, or if anyone knows of this agency and how I can find them and the records of my adoption?
